Ziggles Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 When messing around with the Schwalbe, which is awesome by the way, I noticed that the animation for the rudder trim tab is inverted to the way it should go. So if the rudder is trimmed to yaw right (starboard) the trim tab is shown to be deflected to the left (port) side. This is a minor issue, the flight model reacts correctly, but nonetheless is a small error. (Pictured: trimming tab deflection to the left with yaw to the right under equal engine thrust)
Matze81 Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 That’s how it’s supposed to work. The trim tab left, pushes the rudder surface to the right.
Ziggles Posted June 11, 2019 Author Posted June 11, 2019 I have been messing around with the trim tabs on other aircraft too and have come across something weird again. With the P-47 when the trimming tab is deflected to the right the rudder also deflects to the right... (Pictured: rudder and trimming tab both deflecting right with no rudder input)
