=EXPEND=13SchwarzeHand Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 (edited) Hello, I have a problem with the air start of the 262 in QMB. So I am using a T 16000 throttle and at the beginning of the mission the virtual throttle setting does not correspond to my physical hardware throttle. For all other planes this has never been a problem since as soon as I would touch my throttle the “virtual” throttle and my physical throttle merge to the same value. Now when doing an air start with the 262 this has catastrophic consequences, since any fast adjustments lead to engine failure and there is no way i can control this adjustment speed. Anyone having the same problem and knows how to fix it maybe? Thanks! Edited June 10, 2019 by =EXPEND=13BumaYe
Hawk-2a Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 Set the throttle to a very high setting befor the mission starts, around 85% and it doesn‘t flame out. and if they do, hold the ignition for the engine to start them mid air. It works
CountZero Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 should not easy fix be to just place your real trotle at max forward before starting quick mission airstart, as all airplanes start in qm at 100% trottle, then your matching game with your one, and when you move it it will not brake as they should be at same 100%

danielprates Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 (edited) It would be interesting to know if starting the 262 engines in midflight was an acceptable procedure, if at all possible. EDIT: nevermind, apparently it was possible and the game reflects it correctly. Edited June 10, 2019 by danielprates

SJ_Butcher Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 Same problem, no matter what I do my engine stop as soon as mission starts, it looks like a bug..

Instead just pointing that give something constructive, I didn't read anything about it in the patch notes, what should I do to don't shutdown the damn engine?

When your joystick throttle is positioned at too low power, then the 262 throttle will fall down to the position your throttle has, as soon as you move it, and that will crash the engines. 1

-TBC-AeroAce Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 (edited) I had the ops problem the first time. The solution is just make sure u push the throttle up before air spawn! I actually find the engines quite hard to break in the air. Edited June 11, 2019 by AeroAce
