I have a request regarding pilots in BoS.  Would you please include at least one female pilot?  This would be historically accurate.  I am one of very few female virtual combat pilots.  I love flying IL2 and am very excited about BoS but it sure would be nice to fly without having to look like a man .

I am all for it too. That's a great idea, it may attract some new female virtual pilots in the game, which would also be a good thing.

 Some advertising about the great feats of female pilots during WW2 would perhaps help to make potential new virtual female pilots interested in the genre. And the more we are in the community, the more fun it will be.

what a great idea!! 

the fun in that story is that yesterday, on my way back from work, i was reading a book. This book is "the rose of Stalingrad", which pictures the life of L. Litvask, and I was thinking about the fact that we are getting a game called "Battle of Stalingrad"...

 

So I'm totally in for this idea of getting women pilots

There was a picture of a female pilot model in one of the updates.

That was a photoshopped version of the male pilot. Still very much waiting to hear if the women's contribution will be represented in BoS.

That topic is great. Having learnt the history of WW2 on Eastern Front one cannot ignore the outstanding contribution of female warriors to the Victory.
