HagarTheHorrible Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 I think they suck up frames online, but when flying the LaGG I can't survive any other way. Fortunately the 109 pilots seem to be an impatient lot and tend to go looking for more visible prey whenever I play hide and seek.
Jaws2002 Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 (edited) I wouldn't say that. I saw a fancy flying 109 low over our base and I dropped on him with plenty of energy. As I got closer he started turning and as I positioned for a deflection shot I, we both ended up in a cloud. I don't know how I turned or witch way , but when I came out of it, the 109 was gone. Three seconds later, as I look for him, I get a wheelbarrow of 20mm shells from his gunpods. He then turned back and caught up with my messed up crate and in an attempt to turn under him I splattered allover the country side. I started to hate the damn clouds after that. I did get a bunch of other 109's though, by flying fast, high and close to friendly forces. ah and I forgot to mention the 23mm hammer. Edited March 23, 2014 by Jaws2002
Volkoff Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 (edited) The clouds are lovely. I also find that there is this really cool layer that you can cross at over 8 km altitude. Given where we are and that it is winter, my guess is that this neat layer represents the tropopause, but I am not certain. MJ Edited March 26, 2014 by =69.GIAP=MIKHA
VR-DriftaholiC Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Once we get a bigger map there will be allot more incentive to play at higher altitudes which should help the lagg out.
VR-DriftaholiC Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I find if I manage my energy and pick my fights with enough altitude to dive away if I make a mistake it's really not a bad machine at all. Sure if you wanna turn and burn too low and try to climb away you are bound to have a bad time.
