Fokker D.21 replica

Today the Fokker D.21 replica build by ATN at Hoogeveen airfield was rolled out. She is not finished yet but almost.

13000 man ours were spent until now. Another 2000 or so to go. At the earliest her first flight will be at the end of this year.

Another 2 / 2,5 months and she should be making her maiden flight ....

What a beauty, a true labour of love me thinks.

 

I was flying the Finnish version over the weekend in the old game, always loved those variants of it in 1946, not long since finished a Dutch campaign also, hope we eventually get this in the Great Battles series.
