BornToBattle Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 Out of curiosity (since my inept Google searches turned up nothing) does anyone know what the short tube on the right hand side of the 109's cockpit is for? In VR if you lean down it goes right to the outside of the plane with no obstructions.
BornToBattle Posted May 30, 2019 Author Posted May 30, 2019 Ahh...okay. That's what I thought but wasn't too positive. Thanks!
migmadmarine Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 Also if you hit the keys to bring up your flair gun with the canopy closed you'll see it appear plugged into the tube.

I tried this to no avail but hitting Shift+F3 does indeed bring his leg up but it blocked the view ahead of me in VR 1
FTC_Mephisto Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Would not the wind blow through this whole into the cockpit annoyingly all the time?
BornToBattle Posted June 4, 2019 Author Posted June 4, 2019 ...and 109 pilots are apparently the only ones with a knack for shooting off pyrotechnics as well since I’ve failed to locate any such device on any other German plane thus far. The only google results were this...

Stoopy Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 They always told us it's a feeding tube for serving bratwurst and bier schnitzel to the hungry '109 pilots sitting on the tarmac while on alert.
