dburne Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 The biggest weak feature of the Rift S is the included audio with the strap. It is a big step back from folks used to the Rift CV1 audio. Oculus is apparently working on a software update to be pushed out at some point to improve on the audio for the Rift S. I am sure they have had many complaints. https://uploadvr.com/rift-s-audio-solution/ I had heard about this weak audio going in so I had got Klipsch Earbuds for my Rift S, which sound great. I actually prefer earbuds anyway as I had got so used to using the Oculus earbuds. Hopefully in not too distant future they will be able to improve on it for those that prefer using the audio strap.
FTC_Mephisto Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Good to hear. I opened a ticket with oculus support due to crackling / popping sounds coming from my Rift S.
RedeyeStorm Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 Guys question. I have a good usb headphone that I use without problem with the rift. Would this also work with the Rift S?

RedeyeStorm Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 Great. I was afraid I would have to use the S audio or earbuds. Those never stay put. I read that normal headphones would conflict with the halo.
