If your internet is powered by small, woodland creatures like mine then I recommend the torrent over the download as its about ten times as fast at the moment.

 The game is just beautiful and runs silky smooth on my PC.  Love what Team Fusion has done with it, and can't wait to see what further improvements they have lined up for patch 5.0.

Just got back from weekly business trip. I am so excited to try this. Being a SP guy I know what I will be doing all weekend!!

Not really, DeWilde still with the same "power" of the same of previous patch - what happen is this 109 are hit under convergence cone on engine area.

What is not easy/common (the game dont have a generous hit-box), notice the player - which play ClouD daily - surprise. :)

Man this 4.3 update is awesome.

Performance on my system is fantastic and the sim is just downright beautiful!

 

What an incredible job TF has done for Cliffs of Dover, the difference now and the vanilla Steam version is night and day. I am having a blast, and as a single player guy, am so glad this update came out this week as BOS focus is more on multiplayer for now, going to be doing some great SP campaign flying with Cliffs TF 4.3 this weekend!!

 

Guys, if you already own Cliffs of Dover and have not yet, I would highly encourage you to check out what the TF mod has done for this sim. And if you are a WWII sim fan and do not have it, I would encourage you to grab it on sale somewhere  and give it a try.

For those interested in this sort of mod:  Historical Markings Enabler for Team Fusion 4.3 (hakenkreuz enabler)

 

It has been awhile since I've flown CloD, so I have 2 quick questions about the TF 4.3 patch for others here:

 

1.  What are the rest of you using for adding AA?  I used to use "injectSMAA by mrhaandi v1.2", but I don't now if that is now considered old and out of date.   

 

2.  Are you using FlightFX?  I'm thinking Fifi's BoS settings may also work well in CloD, but I'd also need a link to how to set it up for CloD

TF 4.3 has fixed AA, just make sure AA is not off in the game GUI and don't have Nvidia forcing AA through it's control panel (maybe the same for ATI)

Had a blast this afternoon flying a few missions from the Sealion campaign. Used to be that campaign meant I had to dial back the GFX because some maps include literally thousands of objects, and when I was in the middle of a big tank battle, cloud or intense flak, I used to get stutters or FPS drop. All those burning tanks, trucks and aircraft used to take their toll!

 

Not no more!

TF 4.3 is absolutely awesome.

 Did few sorties in Bf-110 today and man does it run, sounds and looks good.

 

Everything is so smooth. :salute:

It really is a lot faster loading and running. Unfortunately my PC is still too gutless to run it well enough. It's way smoother than before but my system just can't handle the highly detailed maps, even in the single player Quick Mission. Such a shame after seeing the lovfely shots posted here.

I like the work TF have done on the menus. Very 'period', really cool.

 

And I love the 109 cockpit.

Actually, it is just a graphics change - not the damage model.

Horrible timing! People won't know if this is April 1st stuff or not?!?

 

4.31 was mainly to correct the increase in Pilot Kills that were happening due to a coding typo, however something in it has broken some other things in the hotfix - I experienced it myself this morning - glad they pulled the hotfix as quick as they did...

 

4.30 though is still good to go, and very , very good...
