TheGreatCabbage Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Fantastic work! The Me-262 looks amazing, and I'm happy to see that misuse of the engines will cause a fire.
Danziger Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Jesus christ! The detail on that tank is breathtaking! 3
Asgar Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 good news! looking forward to all the additions and improvements.
6./ZG26_Gielow Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 (edited) 5!! For instance, if you remove the nose gun armor and two guns, it becomes so tail heavy with full tanks that it is dangerous to fly. Finally some real aviation limitations Edited May 17, 2019 by 6./ZG26_Gielow 1 2
ZachariasX Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Great job guys! Really looking for ward to that update!!
Thad Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Salutations, The games future looks better and better for all of us. 2
namhee2 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 thanks for the info, we want to hope that nothing comes in between, the 2 weeks will be long ...
Missionbug Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Some excellent work there, good things coming our way, thank you very much for the update, really appreciated. As always, looking forward to the update so we can use that stuff. Wishing you all the very best, Pete.
Blitzen Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 I'll have the new Rift S by then & maybe the Reverb to test as well-all good...but I hope its more like 2 weeks than three ...don't you?
Bremspropeller Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 A-2 jacket woohoo! Will the g-suit be modelled as functional?
SAS_Storebror Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Good choice about the 262 engine. The B-1 was the main production model anyway (*), the B-0 was used mostly on prototypes, the B-2 didn't leave the development stage much and whether B-3s ever saw the light of day would have to be discussed. I hope though that the throttle movement stay a critical factor because it wasn't all that much improved on the B-1, just when RPMs went up you were allowed to move the throttle slightly faster. I./ZG1_HeTzeR Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 I might be wrong but I just read an article about the 262 and it said that, you had to remove the top two mk108s to be able to carry bombs, in the Pic shown above you can see all 4 fire and also bombs are carried. Just saying g

KG 51 was using 262s with all 4 cannons along with bombs fitted. What they were doing in those cases was removing the nose armor to compensate. 1
smink1701 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Nice! I hope the new generation of pilots will be available in all aircraft
Archie Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 That 262 is stunning, but I think my heart will be lost to the SE5a... 1
[APAF]VR_Spartan85 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Soooooo re-fueling and re-arming and repair for tanks eh? Fuel trucks and repair trucks... for tanks.. eh???? what about my plane Naaa, damn good diary!!!! I hope the Russian pilots will get a cosmetic update as well 1
1CGS LukeFF Posted May 17, 2019 1CGS Posted May 17, 2019 Just now, spartan85 said: what about my plane Of course, this feature is linked to another - the possibility of field repair. It is also being worked on and most of it will be usable for aircraft as well. 1 2 2

Unfortunately, sometimes bad info is repeated for many years before new research comes and corrects old mistakes. 1
sevenless Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Excellent News about the 262: Quote - EZ 42 gyro gunsight with automatic deflection calculation, - R4M unguided air-to-air rockets, 12 per mounting, - Armored pilot headrest, - Pilot back armor, - Removal of the gun mounting armor for making the aircraft less nose-heavy, - Removal of two Mk 108 guns, - Bomber variant capable of carrying two SC 250 or one SC 500 bombs. I love that skin of Heinz Baers Red 13. Great! Can´t wait until mid june. 2 2

Chief_Mouser Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Tremendous DD . Just make sure that you don't release the update when I'm away! As has been done before...
6FG_Big_Al Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Stunning news as always! The possibilities for the tanks (and later for the planes) sounds extremely exciting! With the Albatros and S.E.5. you did a great job and just like the Me 262 I can't wait to fly them. The American summer uniform looks good. I'm curious what the Royal Airforce pilots will look like. I hope that sometime in the future the Russian and German uniforms will be brought to the new standard. Thanks for your hard work Il-2 Team best regards Rico!
unlikely_spider Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Awesome as always! I can't wait to take on 262s with the SE5!

=gRiJ=Roman- Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 (edited) Thanks a lot. I am getting hooked on tanks now. I am even rewatching the old Tank Overhaul episodes ..... the PANTHER Elephant Edited May 17, 2019 by 15[Span.]/JG51Spartan 1
namhee2 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Have a very important question: will you have to combat infantry in the future, even in "tank crew"? Without infantry much was lacking in the autheticity !!!!! 1
Beazil Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 I'm looking forward to reading the first impressions of the 262 from the user base. I will be flying it as soon as it's released, but I didn't fly it much in the old 1946, and that is the only other example of it appearing in a "modern" simulation I am aware of. I'm betting some of you know this plane very well, and with all the work that 1c has put into this bird I am sure there will be things more experienced users will notice before I do. I expect a challenging time flying her. Oh baby! This should be a treat! 1
