Question about Mc 202

On the reflector sight. Theres another smaller grey gunsight in the bottom.

Its not the backup anyone know what its for? It lines up with the larger reflected sight if you move your head is it for longer range shooting or strafing?

I think it is from where the big sight is reflected?

I dont see this grey smaller gunsight but if you have a picture that would really help. I only see the smaller yellow sight that does not move on the reflector sight and thats likely to showcase the type of reticle installed inside the gunsight.

the pilot uses the gray sight (rear) to align with the reflector sight (forward) for aiming purposes.

Reflector sight. Yellow. You looking at it? Foreground of the sight theres a small grey exact same crosshair design. As below yiu says you line them up for aiming I guess

When it start flashing red, it means the pizza is ready and can be removed from water radiator.

I use the smaller one to line up bomb drop. Works well but I don't know if that is what it's really for. (I like the pizza idea  ?).

Ok. The little grey sifht u move ur head dowb it lines up with the large yellow sight. Someone explained its for shootung. I think its the principal of other gunsites needing a sight in front ajd further behind to aim well. I aim well without doung it so I wonder if

A. Im doinng it wrong and range is just close

B. It was meant for long range shots

C. Maybe for strsfing?

Ah gut gut I was worried it meant we switched sides as I was landing at a German heavy field and they would have been most displeased

I thought this as well. Like the hs129 sights or the paint lines on Il2 43s.  However I dont thinknits for thst (did it work for bonb drops)  the way it lines up just so with the other sight really impells me to think its definite gun shooting relsyed
