Flight records

Hi All. I would like to know how i go about setting up my flight records, at the moment it's blank! and all it says is "Please select from flight list" . ? is this a list i shall have to compile after every flight, [How]

 

One other thing, while flying the Me 109, especially during the intercept or escort missions, it's the annoying voice barking out messages which he repeats over and over, it's hard enough trying to line up on an enemy without matey boy giving his running commentary.  so is this considered normal or is it something that will be altered or left out later in the development stages.   

 

I hope it can be replaced with the wing man calling out warnings during combat!. [ I'll have to buy a German phrase book!! ]

Taffy, you have to create your own records by assigning a button or key to start/stop recording. A little red dot and the letters Rec will appear in the top RH corner of your screen when recoding.

 

Wrt to the bloody annoying voice, many have complained about it. Hopefully the final version will have the ability to select English for both the Russian and German voices.

 

Beat me to the punch O exrtreme one.

The recording of flight records function does need to be examined. A number of times, after I finished a mission, when I went back to check on the recording, the black screen would come up and the message that the mission was paused..."Press P"...appeared. When I pressed "P", nothing happened. Seemed as though if I finished a mission without pressing Ctrl R to stop the recording before exiting, the recording did not happen. On the other hand, one time my system crashed before I finished a mission, and when I went back to see the flight recording, the images were there to watch.

 

Also...after I played the sim, and exited the program...when I went back to play again later, and I pressed the short cut to start the game, I had a message telling me that a launcher was already in play...so I could not start the game again...I had to reboot my system to be able to start the game up again. This happened a number of times, not just once.

Hi Taffy,

 

Check out the advice in post #10 in AI Fighter Radio Chatter.  There you'll see a great workaroud to essentially turn off the chatter. 

 

Before I update the game each week I always change back the name of the "radio" folder, just in case.
