firing guns in bf - 109

Dear pilots

Good day

 

i'm playing IL-2 sturmovic the first version - im new to the game - and i can't fire my guns in any fighter planes like BF 109 - the left click mouse only work while im flying the bomber like HE111

so is there any error about that or is there a missing step that i forget to do

Are you flying using your mouse only? No joystick?

 

Check the key mapping options in your game - here you'll find the keys assigned for the guns/canons and you can remap them

as you like. But flying with the mouse as primary controller - really?
