Steam BOS and Store BOBP questions

I have the steam version of BOS (didnt know any better than to buy it there at the time) and today i bought Battle of Bodenplatte.

When i start the game from steam i see all the content both BOS and BoBP, when i start the game from the BOBP directory i only see the BOBP content.

 

My question is, can i delete the BOBP directory since i can see all the currently available maps and planes if i start the game from steam?

 

2nd question, and maybe deserving of another thread:

If i start the game from the BOBP directory, where i can see only the BOBP content, icons look vanilla, if i start the game from the BOS steam shortcut the icons are messed up because of a mod i installed. I would like to be able to switch back to vanilla icons to get range numbers for gunnery. Where does BOBP store its icons? There isnt an icon directory under data/graphics in the BOBP directory.

Hello BOBP is still under development, the map is not ready yet.
I advise you BOM and BOK also to instal ..
Since I am quite sure, I advise you to wait for further comment

2) Just do the file integrity check with steam and it will probably fix your mod issue. Next time use one of those mod managers like jsgme or ovgme.

Thank you for your reply. I did both of those things, before i posted.

I installed the mod with jgsme the same way i used to in the 1946 days and when i highlighted the mod and clicked the leftward pointing arrow to revert to the default behaviour, it didnt.

 

Does anyone know where bobp stores its icons?  There are no data/graphics/icons/*.dds files, yet it still manages to display icons correctly.

Alternately if someone would be kind enough to lend me their Il2BoS objects.dds file i would appreciate it.
