Tightening the tension on a vkb gladiator

First off, you probably shouldn’t. Vkb makes no claim the plastic gimbal won’t break with anything but the stock spring.

 

if you must, DONT order any replacement springs from vkb. They don’t really fit, they’re longer than the ones on the gladiator, and will have a lot of slop.

 

DO buy a pack of little rubber bands from the local drug store (like for pony tails) or if you’re lazy, dig that old bag of unused balloons from your last party out of the closet because you’re a thrifty  bastard who doesn’t like to waste perfectly good baloons, and snip the knot end lip off of two of them. That will work great.

just unscrew the base, and put these bands over the things that hold the springs.

In CH Fighterstick "hay days" some owners use place condom rings* over springs for stiff their sticks. ?

 

*Seems are more durable than rubber bands.
