Is there any chance of the Battle of Britain planned, as a campaign like Bodenplatte?

I think it is more important to close important "gaps". More Maps: Crimea, Kharkov, Leningrad and even more and various aircraft Fw 189, Fiesel Stork, Li2 (also in IA) and more tanks Pz II, Skfz 222-223, Kübelwagen, and I'll forget the half.

The Battle of Britain is already covered by IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover - Blitz.

An interresting topic here.

The idea that only one map can be used for 2 battle I like a lot.

Very popular, already known devs, aircraft whose search is easy.

It could be an exciting opus.

 

Sorry but BOX and COD are two different games, why deprive BOS players of a BOB, because another old game does?

Because both games are products of 1C, and 1CGS is involved in the development of both ( along with Team Fusion for CLoD). 

They won't have overlap as they would basically be competing with themselves.

Why should 1C spend time and money to create a BoB game, when they already have a BoB game under development?

I bought this sim expecting to have an Eastern front simulation.

 

They already swayed with BoBP which is fine, but I would really like the devs to focus on finishing the Eastern front first, namely the Northern front around Leningrad or at the very least a 1944 scenario like Bagration.

 

Then they can do whatever they want.. Battle of Normandy or better, an ambitious switch to the Pacific would be my number 1 choice.

 

For the Western front, we have CLOD blitz... Battle of Britain, a possible Med front in the works or a battle of Normandy... There is also DCS for the west. Please dont forsake the east, that was the whole point of IL2 for me.
