Saving Mission files after editing in Notepad - Unicode/Ansi

Please see image...I don't get a "drop down" when saving, and not sure how concerned I should be about this.

Sneaksie asked me to change some damage values in the mission text files due do some changes made recently.

Not wanting to really mess things up, I figured I'd better ask about this.

I'm not sure, but have you tried making the changes in NotePad++ instead?

I think you can use regular Notepad too, just use "Save As" and select the encoding there.

 

That being said, Notepad++ has features that come in handy, so you're better off using that one
