Stuck high in trees, can’t finish mission

Playing on Wings of Liberty, I crash landed my Ju88 in a forest, got it stuck high in the trees, and couldn't finish the mission even after shutting the engines off, the "Finish Mission" menu item was not clickable. I tried bailing out but died since there wasn't enough time for the parachute to deploy between the top of the tree and the ground. My only other option would have been to wait till the end of the map or log-out.
