I read your line about flying with and against aces, and that the implementation is only away a text file and a dedicated user.

So... I have much free time over the next couple of months and woud love to help out.

If you explain to me how it can be done with a text file i woud take on the task.

No worrys! The historical data about the various aces i am able to find on my own.

I believe all the historic ace data is stored in the json files at this location: PWCGCampaign\BoSData\Input\Aces

They are json formatted text files, similar to the format of the AI and human pilots in the squadron personnel files. I'm not sure if Pat has added to the lineup before the next release, but so far it looks like there are two aces, Arkady Fedorovich Kovacevich and Hermann Graff. If you look through those as examples (I use Notepad++ for easier formatting), it should give you an idea of what type of data needs to be included.

Hope that helps!

Users can add and test any ace they want by adding a JSON file with the right information.  PWCG will pick them up automatically.  Should anybody wish to do an ace or three please feel free.  Post the ace file here and I will add it to PWCG for everybody to enjoy.  I have 180 aces in RoF ... only two or three for BoS.

If you have any questions about the data in the aces file please ask.
