FMF*BarracudaCZ Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 How will it end when we meet a colleague in Yak-1 squad of cooperating Fw190? Like a cat and mouse game: D Thank you for the nice dogfight pilots from ACG and JG54. See you in the sky: D 1
RedKestrel Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 Great video! I was on the server when this happened! I remember seeing xJammer talking about running out of fuel. I had a good night, shot some guys down in my I-16 and actually managed to land for once! I had something like this happen to me when I was flying alone on Combat Box. I was in a P-39 and saw a pair of 109s quartering away from me, so I gave chase...then noticed a FW-190 coming up, moved to engage him before he got me, then say ANOTHER 190 I hadn't noticed was almost at shooting range, and then decided to just get the hell out of dodge. After a bit of back and forth with the 190s the 109s joined in and I ended up in a descending scissors with one 109 that I thought I hit, before starting to get raked by the Focke-wulfs. Eventually all four of them were taking shots at me and I was headed for the deck to try and get home. Two of them followed me and the Focke-Wulf of the pair killed my engine, while the 109 shot my fuel tank just before I hit the ground. Didn't do nearly so well as you guys did lol, I lasted about 45 seconds from first engagement. 1
FMF*BarracudaCZ Posted May 2, 2019 Author Posted May 2, 2019 Thank you! Yes I remember you in I-16 I know that most people want to see videos where the player destroys as many goals as possible, but I think you often learn just when you go out where something goes wrong. Just like in this case. Any sensible player would try to avoid a fight with such great odds. However, I am for every fun and I am also happy about losing a duel for a nice dogfight. I'm sorry for my bad english 1

I'm sorry for my bad english Don't worry about it, your English is quite good! And I agree, we learn more from mistakes than from success. 1
