Has the 109 E-7 engine been overhauled?

I have not flown the E-7 in a long time (hardly a reason to use it) and another thread was recommending it to a newer user. So this encouraged me to take it out for some fun and test plane limitations. I noticed the engine was not falling apart within minutes like I had remembered. So I went to check the engine stats and they read that the combat power is good for thirty minutes. I had thought the combat power for earlier planes such as the E-7 was typically five minutes.  Did this value increase recently or has it always been thirty minutes?  I checked a few older tutorial videos and none of them really mention the engine stats. 




I know the whole countdown timer for engines exploding has been a hot topic for years in the game. So that makes me curious if the combat/emergency values were finally adjusted.

Are we able to use the in cockpit stopwatch? I remember using this in the CLOD version but cant find the settings for it in BOS.

Therefore can anybody clarify for me please?

I'm fairly sure you can't in BoS.

But you can look at the in cockpit clock and make a mental note.

The lower dial on German clocks tracks total fight time, 1 revolution = 15 min..,,missing on A8 last timw I looked
