uhoney Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Might as well posted this on hardware but.. I don't own a copy of bos (yet), anyways.. So.. I have constructed a horrible device with lights that seem to work with facetracknoir. I have the program running, I see dots (plus signs) on the screen. But, how do I tell Il2 that I want to use this device for looking around. I just.. I don't get it. Is it supposed to be turned on automatically? Is there a button I must turn on in IL2 settings? what? how? Google turned up with 150 videos with onboard plane footage.
Emgy Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 (edited) if that doesn't work then If you haven't already: In FTnoir protocol settings, try different settings ("Enable both" or "use TrackIR, hide Freetrack" should work), and turn on the option to "enable TrackIR dummy.exe". And always start FTnoir before you start il2. Edited March 6, 2014 by Calvamos
uhoney Posted March 6, 2014 Author Posted March 6, 2014 I checked conf.ini; weird because trackiruse=1 already in file. I'll try calvamos's tips tomorrow, too late for today.
uhoney Posted March 7, 2014 Author Posted March 7, 2014 Allright, I clicked "Game protocol" -> "Freetrack" Below I clicked "Settings" -> "Use TrackIR, hide freetrack" and I clicked Locate.dll and chose the NPClient.dll IL2 worked after that. Thank you, problem solved.
