Game takes 5 minutes to load, then freezes when I click once loaded.

Let me start by saying this pos game has broken on me in nearly every single way, the developers should be ashamed.

 

Firsts my joystick wouldn't get detected, then the graphics wouldn't set properly, then the game wouldn't load, then the games loads poorly, then mouse clicks start causing freezes, then my account would not connect to log in, in game, despite the fact that it's 100% valid.

 

I'm on the Steam version.

 

Currently, the game is installed on my SSD, I've tried deleting config files, verifying game cache, full re-install, everything.

 

When I start the game, it takes a legitimate 5 minutes for it to load... on an SSD. But in those 5 minutes, if I move the mouse out of the window, it freezes and won't load.

 

After it's loaded I can't click anywhere, or else the game freezes again... I have to wait 3 minutes again until I can click, and when I do, IT FREEZES AGAIN, without even registering the click...

 

I can't do anything, what the f*ck is going on? I paid a lot of money for this game and haven't played it more than 5 minutes despite 3 hrs now of trying.

I am trying to understand what you are saying? Are you frantically clicking while the main menu is loading up? Just let the game load. It needs to connect to servers and stuff and I assume that's why it seems to take longer than you'd think even on an ssd.
