Pre-purchase IL2:BOS questions

• Can IL2:BOS currently be used offline or is it online use only?

• Will it make any difference in purchase price whether IL2:BOS is purchased now or after its official release?

• Has there been any indication whether an offline campaign generator (such as the magnificent Pat Wilson Campaign Generator) will be created for IL2:BOS?

• Is the IL2:BOS menu structure (user interface) similar to Rise of Flight or is there a significant transition between the two programs?

 

I hope these questions aren't redundant. I spent some time searching the forum, but have yet to find the answers. Thanks to anyone who can answer them for me.

Currently, BoS can only be used online. I assume that once its released it will be playable off line Single player mode too, like RoF. Only the Premium Edition is available for purchase right now at a savings of about 5$, but you do get early access to the Alpha version  from about 5PM EDT Friday afternoon until about 5PM EDT Monday. I'm unsure whether there will be an offline campaign generator.

"Online" as in : you need to to be connected to the internet to play single-player, not "online" as in: multiplayer
