Call Signs in SP

Ok so I searched. I added a thread on suggestions but in the interim to clarify -

Theres no way to determine other friendly units call signs besides say the formation youre escorting giving an order and you can see the planes react?

Itd be helpful on the brief to have a list of call signs and who they are (plane type and mission) or the very least the call sign of flight youre escorting or whom is escorting you.

As that seems not in game does anyone know any work arounds?  Does PWCG adress this? It can be frustrating to hear other flights regularly engage or engaged by bandits and have no idea their mission, air frame, nothing.

PWCG shows callsigns for units in the intelligence reports. I've wanted to add info on relevant units to the mission briefings, but have never had the time.

Thanks.  Im gonnna check out PWGC later.  As a mod is there anything else I should download with it?

How does it compare to career mode? The listing of call signs etc sounds very promising. ill look it up but if you have any recommendations Id like to hear them

To be clearer if you have the time - could you maybe name some things career mode does better and things PWGC does better?
