=EXPEND=Dendro Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 I installed second hand EVGA GTX 1080ti FTW3 Hybrid on saturday from a guy that used a few of them for mining. I installed it and updated to the latest drivers and it all seemed to run very well. I played all weekend with no problems. I also pushed up the graphics settings to high/max on most of the settings on IL2. Last night while on WoL I played about half an hour and the mission rolled over to a new map (Moscow I think) where there was a lot of forest. Took off no problem, flew about 8 km from AF then bang.... PC switched off completely. Started up and jumped on WoL again took off and got to same area...BANG! This happened two more times and so I reduced my settings like grass and view distance and enabled Vsync. The mission then worked fine??? I tried a DCS Hornet quick mission (high settings) and it was ok. I initially suspected my PSU (650W Corsair) but after reading up it seems its enough. I am worried its the Graphics card but its not overheating or anything.? ANy ideas how I can troubleshoot this and check whether its my PSU or a faulty GPU card.
