Setting a specific FOV

Does anyone know how i can set my default Fov to specific number value?

I've never adjusted it, there is a slider though in one of the menu options isn't there ?

 

I did a quick google search which led me back to an old thread on this forum. So there may be more valid answers since then, but linking it anyway on the off chance it might help. I know it does not answer your specific question :-

I don't know about 'specific numbers'  but if you just move your FOV to what you want for that plane and press F10 then it becomes the default for that plane.   Just make sure you are not looking or leaning sideways/upwards etc at the time as everything about your current view becomes the default view.   The safest way to do it is to turn off TrackIr first then use the key commands to move the FOV and use the mouse to make sure you are looking straight ahead before pressing F10.
