Bearcat was closer to a shipborne Fw-190 than an F6F if we’re doing comparo’s.

Olive drab and razorback is the best looking combo for P-47s and P-51s(in my opinion)!

P-47 razorback with it's split windshield reminds me of cars of late 30s - early 40s. Looks badass!

Yep, Razorback cockpit is my favorite though visibility is pretty poor.

Th ballistic glass and the overall layout just makes it look interesting. I was working on a 3d model of one but it's on hold for the time being, need more time/knowledge before I complete it.

Yeah looks like the sliding section was a single piece in the prototype.

I am glad that wing of liberty is empty now, their planeset suck most of the time, only planes from the first two games and If I have all the add-ons I want to use them, I like that people moved from that server.

Idk. I think we.d be better with all servers.  I do admit other servers have been friendlier than WoL where Ive meet some really cool people and met some really bizarre jerks/people wanting to talk S about me there over stuff on the forum (LOL)

Tis the nature of the internet

Cant decide if that’s beautiful or hideous.

You may not like it, but this is what peak aerodynamic performance looks like. Actually, the tail should be a bit shorter: mate this with a MiG-3 and you have perfection.

Personally, I really love the 190 prototypes. The crazy geared intake thing on the nose would have been amazing if it worked properly.

I don't know - a big beauty 2000hp double wasp radial is pretty sweet looking to me.

The A6M takes great exception to this.

The Tempest tried a similar duct spinner.

Tempest II looks better than the Tempest V - pity it was not ready during the war.

It's evolution resulted in the Sea Fury and she is lovely indeed. I have yet to see one fly but am hoping to next year as I will be attending the Duxford show.

Most radial powered WW2 aircraft look better in my eyes than their inline powered counterparts.

All the Japanese aircraft in general just look amazing. Great liveries as well.

I gotta say radial engines look good to me?

Yeah inlimes have nice lines to but the 190 and the F4U always looked good to me.

Bearcats, zeros, and A1 Skyraiders too.

Also just knowing the benefits and my preference to using the radial engines in game has swayed my opinion too.  Its so much easier to deal with cowl flaps and thats it.

190 with ducted spinner looks rather ‘30s sci-fi. Very advanced aircraft at inception,  even if the teething troubles took a while to rectify.

On that note, the Macchi C.202 wouldn't look out of place in a Dieselpunk type pulp magazine. Heck, I probably wouldn't question it if it popped up in that new Wolfenstein game either.
