SteamVR crashing

Hello,

 

Is it happening to someone that sometimes Steam VR crashes and then view it's frozen so do the game is, except audio?

I never experienced that, do you have the latest update loaded of steamVR, there was a new update.

Sounds more his system is being overflowed. 

What is your system spec?

8700k 5.0, 1080ti OC..

Sounds like an uninstall and re-install and setup of Steam VR may be in order.

I have never experience that with Steam VR, and have been running it since the day IL-2 got official VR support.

I had this when I tried to OC my GPU. Problem went away when I reset the GPU to default.

Might be CPU overclock aswell. Mine worked fine with 2k screen, but VR with high overclock may cause OC issues. Try lower to 4.9 or 4.8
