It makes me wonder, though, when and if the long-rumored "Masters of the Air" - sort of a "Band of Brothers" miniseries about an 8th Air Force B-17 bomber crew - will ever come out on HBO?

 New Midway movie out November 8th. A list actors but a sci-fi guy directing. The promo poster is depressingly bad. I think it’s an A6M-SBD with a four bladed prop.

Last night I saw the old Midway movie again. There are some parts missing, the B17 attacks and the destroyer leading to the Jap fleet.

However, it was very good for it's time.
