Question about official skin

Maybe a stupid question..

Is an official skin tranferible from a plane to another?  

If yes, for example I could copy paste the G4 skin in the skin G6 folder and in this case in multiplayer this G6 skin should be seen from anyone cause it s an official...

Don t know if this procedure could create problem..

We had a few G2 skins made by a squad member before we stopped flying for the dark side and started to concentrate on the light side of the force. They worked perfectly on G4 aircraft but not on G6's as there are some differences in panel sizes such as the tail between the G2/4 and G6 so it showed a couple of wierd patterns in areas of the aircraft that were not coloured properly.

Txs mate...in this case if g2 skin fit well in G4...an official skin copy pasted from G2 folder to G4 folder must be seen from anyone in mp...I suppose

Depends how fussy you are. There are a lot of differences between the G2 and G4 that will likely show in the normal mapping. In the main these centre on the wing bumps and the differences in the riveting around them, the shape of the main wheel wheels (Like the F2 and F4 with the G4 having squared off wells), the access panel on the port side of rib 8 (more oblong), the radio location line and the tailwheel and panelled off hole.
