Slap Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 (edited) HI all. I seem to have lost/done something to lose forward/cockpit view...When I start the sim it defaults to rear view. Same when I use trackIR. I have been in tinkering mode all morning...Unfortunately I'm pretty good at messing things up Any ideas ? Think I sorted it...It seems that you can press F10 to reset the view to where you had it last. I have been hitting F10 a lot in Fraps for screen shoots. Edited April 9, 2019 by Slap To add fix
1CGS LukeFF Posted April 9, 2019 1CGS Posted April 9, 2019 You can also go into the defaults folder, which is inside data/luascripts/snapviews and copy the relevant file there back into snapviews.

Thanks LukeFF. I am not sure which would be the relevant files to replace if needed. Could I just copy the content of Default folder and paste the lot into snapview one? The file numbers in each folder are 97 and 99 respectively (doesn't sound promising.. ). Either way good to know.

The third option is to disable TrackIr and go into the cockpit and use the keys for moving the pilots head (or just use the mouse if you don't need to raise/lower it or move it sideways) to make it look where you want then press F10. What F!0 does is make whatever direction you are facing when you press it become your default view.
Zooropa_Fly Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 .. or just re-map F10 so there's no conflict ?
