Just wanted to let the Tank Crew community know that we are opening up our roster for new recruits who are interested in joining our ranks.  I know that TC is still in it's developmental stages but we've found the game a lot of fun even in its current state.  Yes, I know....no infantry,  AT weapons to breach, etc....but all in all, tank on tank with some planes up in the air has plenty of action and challenges built within the game. 

We are anticipating more servers to come online, and we are building our own battlefield of sorts in the near future.  It doesn't take much really just the player numbers to populate a server.  Our group isn't interested in name calling and immature antics and we can make it really with the numbers we have, but I know there's got to be some like minded simmers out there that would like to join us.  If you are experienced, all the better, you can bring us up to your level.

Hey looked at your site today and noticed you are 1 man per tank, with the current Tank MP Gunner option did you consider 2 Players per tank?  1 Commander/Driver, 1 Gunner?  My only thinking is after single player tank ops it would definitely be easier to drive and more overall situational awareness (with commander view) as opposed to single gunner.  I find single gunner quite easy to become focused on the target and lose that overall SA.

Yes, but more for Post Scriptum at this point based on the ease of operating a tank in TC with the one player aspect.  For now, with our numbers we'd rather have a couple of platoons coordinating movement than just 4 to 5 tanks with the 2 player a tank option.  Additional tanks also give you more eyes from different angles and terrain coverage so it's a trade off.

You quickly learn to get oriented, our team leaders are pretty good in giving directions so I find it a good learning to move around in the different positions in the tank, later on having one position would be great, but we need more players to that.

Those campaigns are a lot of fun and go through some ammo.  All in all, you guys end up knocking out at least 40 or more targets, including my normally smoking and perforated T34.

 

We will have our SCG Air Wing up next mission and you guys better find some cover...?
