If you kill the driver the tank is counted as dead, so if the Tiger didn't have the visor down its possible ;)

Is it counted as dead when the tracks are destroyed?

Did some of your bullets go astray and bounce off the ground against the Tiger's ventral armor?

Spoiler

Sorry... I couldn't resist!

The reference to hitting the ventral armour was joke.

I destroyed ENY tank with an AP round ricocheting under their ventral armor.
A tank belly is very thin compared to its frontal armor.
If your AP round hit the ground at a certain angle and in front of the tank it bounces under, and if it hits the skin, boom goes your target.
Not a joke if you are inside the destroyed tank.

Belly armour of the Tiger is 25mm and that thickness increases with the angle from perpendicular at which the projectile hits. No .50" is going to penetrate up to 8" of thickness. Never mind that the round is deformed from contact with the road surface.

In case you missed it, P-47s claimed they knocked out Tigers by ricocheting rounds off the road in into its belly.
