Dunkirk - Operation "Dynamo" SP Campaign. Hurricane.

Credit to Piper_Kiev for this campaign.
Thanks to 1lokos for "repacking" and improving it's features!
I have added No.213 Squadron. (Hurricane).
version1.3
During Operation "Dynamo" (British, French and Belgian troops are cut off by the German army during the Battle of France at Dunkirk), Hawker Hurricanes operated from British bases are helping with the evacuation.
No.213 Squadron was withdrawn from Merville during the Battle of France to England, from where it flew constant patrols over the French coast during the evacuation.
Good luck!

Extract the ZIP files for a (temporary) folder in desktop and manually:

Copy the mission files for ... \steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz\parts\bob\mission\campaign\Campaign_213 <<< Need create this folder.

Then in ... \steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz\parts\bob\mission\campaign\

Open the file "Campaign.ini" and add the line "campaign_213" to [Main] section bellow existing names (of another campaigns).

[Main]
campaign_213

And past this lines at end of Campaign.ini file

[campaign_213]
folder campaign_213
title No.213 Squadron.
image Poster.bmp

Save the file.

Copy paint schemes for  ... \Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\PaintSchemes\Skins\HurricaneMkI

In ...\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\mission\campaign\

Create a new folder and rename for Campaign_213

The above instructions became outdated with the release of Tobruk - even if you don't have this expansion, since the structure was incorporated in Blitz (the now "vanilla" version).

Follow this topic for install any single player contend, old made or new.

BTW - I think that latest versions of Blitz/Tobruk "Flashcard" have the updated instructions for install Single Player contend.

Hi there, thanks so much for your help! I followed the earlier link and I have to admit I found myself struggling. Sorry. I will show you what I have for adding the Dunkirk campaign…

If you have the patience to help I will be forever grateful…!

Hi JS81Knows,

rename your folder campaign_Operation_Dynamo to campaign_Dunkirk.

You may need to do one more thing to make this campaign appear in the campaign list in the game though.

See my post (#30) in this thread - https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35390

Thank you Josef! I’ll try tonight. I’m concerned the file below the custom folder in my image above the other file isn’t an ini file. Should it be?!

Hi JS81Knows,

your campaigns file located in the custom folder should be a .ini file.

I guess it's not visible at the first sight because Windows hides file extensions for most file types.

You can check that by right-clicking on the campaigns file, selecting Properties, and checking File type field. It should say "configuration (.ini)".

If not, you can try to rename this file to campaigns.ini.

This is absolutely one of the BEST short campaigns designed since the beginning of Cliffs of Dover!?
