Hi All, Have been trying to get hold of a copy [DVD] of the documentary " Hawker Typhoon/ The Unsung " it's a tribute to the pilots of 181 squadron [2nd Tactical air force]  i know i should not post here regards this subject but i tried the Free subject forum but no response so thought i would try a wider audience, have also tried emailing the film producers but no replies.

There is a 30 minute segment on Youtube but it just finishes mid sentence ! if i can get hold of a complete copy i intend to show as part of a 75th anniversary presentation night at my local military history society

here in Fremantle, Western Australia

PS have also tried many sites in the UK. RAF museums, Typhoon restoration groups and the film makers but so far no luck.     Cheers

The full version is on Facebook, no idea how you obtain it though.

Previously only available as a DVD by special order, the only concise documentary on the Typhoon of WW2 is available as a pay per view video for everyone to enjoy.

Hawker Typhoon Film: the Unsung
Hawker Typhoon Film: the Unsung Sorry Matthew, you can watch 30 minutes on youtube but we have to pay license fees for music and use of the programme online. We also have to pay a moderator and small team to keepp the pages updated and check on any problems people have. It's £3 (UK) to watch once or you can by repeat viewings over a week. Our payment gateway is PayPal and we do not take any automated payments or add on charges. You also get proof of payment by way of a receipt.

But that was back in 2012.

No worries buddy, not sure if it helps you in regards a presentation.

My dad was a Taff (born in Cardiff), which is the true meaning of the description.  ;)

I am a West Walian, through and through. ?
