CosmicXSolitude Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Been playing a lot of P47 over Moscow but i would really like to fly the spit mk9 over Kuban. Anyone have one of these made already or that can make one, that they could make a DL link for would be awesome
crigby46 Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 I think I've made one already for this, but if not I'll get one done tonight mate. I'll replace the GIAP flying the mk.Vb, so it'll be the same regiment in the same location, just the Mk.IX instead. 1
CosmicXSolitude Posted March 30, 2019 Author Posted March 30, 2019 Awesome thanks man and if you can make it with actual RAF skins that would he dope too but only if you can :) 1
crigby46 Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Right, uploading now, there'll be a G-drive link here shortly! You'll be flying as either R-Roger or S-Sugar in 629 Squadron, with the squadron code LQ. Default skin for the Mk.IXe with this enabled is P-Peter, all other skins for the squadron are assigned at random to other aircraft in career. R and S are not assigned, and are in the custom skin section for you to pick your preference. In my case I take S-sugar, with some custom noseart of course Enable through JSGME as usual, start a new career with 57 GIAP, and you're in. Just remember to pick either R-Roger or S-sugar, or else you run the risk of having two P-Peters in the same mission. All aircraft have unique markings and serials, as correct as I can reasonably make them for the BoBP timeframe while still being fictional. 629 squadron is the same; that number was never assigned, but it was given the code LQ in preparation during the Battle of Britain. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1T023ESDgz4h9oHm3izWQZ7DxzS8EWmM- There you go! Recommend you choose a name for the career that you'll remember too! 1 1
hayraddin Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Would it be possible to have one for Spitfire Mk V in Moscow and Stalingrad too? 1

If you check out the other topic k4's over Moscow they sorta mention how to do it and someone mentioned that they put the Vb into stalingrad. And thank you Crigby46
crigby46 Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Hey Hayraddin, that's relatively easy, except for one thing: It'll replace an existing air regiment. That's not an issue, except all I'm doing is swapping one aircraft assignment for another, so the types of mission flown will be roughly similar. For that reason, for Moscow at least I'll use an I-16 regiment so you fly fewer ground attack missions, for Stalingrad it'll take a little more sorting through, but I'll be able to get something to you hopefully tomorrow for sure~ 2 minutes ago, Piro53 said: It is. That might actually have been me who put the spit into Stalingrad, if I've done that one already it'll be an easy upload! I do not currently have a set of 629 squadron skins for the Spitfire Mk.Vb however, so you'd be flying as the soviets if you don't want to wait. Assuming you're happy to fly as the Soviets; Spitfire Mk.Vb over Moscow: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1YdyU9rMrpyDiYAgRQyiQ4X_5s9Ef5h8R Spitfire Mk.Vb over Stalingrad: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1VLn9CUKP8q7A0e_tJc18lcgmAjb1aL1E For Moscow, you want 27 IAP to begin with. For Stalingrad, it's 11 IAP. I don't recall off the top of my head which one it's in, but in at least one of those cases the career for the regiment ends short of the end date for the map. In whichever case that turns out to be, you can switch to another regiment on that same date that I've set to also fly the Spit. Anybody's guess which at this point, so have fun finding out! 2
hayraddin Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Thank you very much for this, Ill give it a try!
CosmicXSolitude Posted March 31, 2019 Author Posted March 31, 2019 Has anyone tried adding all current Bodenplatte planes into one of these Carer missions yet?

Is there a campaign for a P47 over Moscow?, if so where does one get it?

Taxman Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Thanks Piro53 d/lng now. Thank you crigby46 for the campaign mod. 1
Geezer Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 (edited) I realize this an older MOD, but I decided to download and give it a try. Created a career and flew the first mission. Terrific. There is one thing, however. I noticed a couple of strange readouts that are part of the HUD that do not appear anywhere else in game...just this MOD. In the screenshot you can see a green readout of "max 50" on the left of the screen and a red "max 350" on the right. Would like to know what these are, and, more importantly, can they be turned off without turning off the HUD? I'm using TrackIR. Thanks. Edited March 2, 2024 by Mysliwiec
Geezer Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 OK. So, never mind, I guess? Flew a second mission and it's not there. Strange.
Geezer Posted March 4, 2024 Posted March 4, 2024 Never mind (again). Figured it out. Have to select the East1944 map in lieu of the Kuban map.
