Starting game - All I see is opening screen, no menu to start

Just installed the game. When I click play on the launcher, it goes to the login screen, I login with my credentials, and then it just shows me circling around a plan with music playing in the background. There doesn't seem to be a way to actually start playing. How do I get the menu options?

How did you start the game? With the launcher.exe or the il2.exe.

 

The launcher.exe is primarily used for game updates. Use the il2.exe if you didn't already.
