Questions about New Build

Hello! Been playing IL2 1946 for years, and now have IL2 BOS up to Kuban. Current machine is starting to have problems, like USB ports that stop working, and sound card/voice comm problems (as those in AH can attest to ?...sounds like a duck on helium ?) Anyway, here's the current system specs, and then the specs for the proposed system:

 

Asus M5A99 Evo R2.0

AMD FX4350 Black Edition

Antec Kuhler H2O 620 (older model but still working great after many years)

Antec HCG M 750

8 gig Patriot RAM

Windows 7 Home

AMD RX550

Asus Xonar AE sound card

1 TB WD HDD (along with several others for storage)

Enermax Ostrog case

 

Proposed system

 

Asus ROG Strix X470-F Gaming AM4

AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 6 core 3.6 Ghz

16 gig Patriot Viper RAM DDR4 3000

WD Black HDD, either 1 or 2 TB

Windows 10 Home

Same case and power supply

Possible addition of Samsung SSD

MSI GTX1660Ti Gaming X 6 gig (looking at other cards too)

Possible addition of closed loop CPU cooling, like the Corsair 100X (still partial to Antec, however)

 

Would like to be able to run BOS at full settings. I'm also building this with the ability to upgrade in mind...possibly be able to add an even faster processor/GPU in the future.
