White, 'halftone' type dot pattern on parts of trees

I just got Kuban, and everything looks great, except one minor little thing I noticed... sometimes.

I see a pattern of white dots... much like a 'halftone' pattern you'd see looking close up at a B&W newspaper photo... appearing on parts of some trees.  Perhaps only a certain colour or luminance value of the tree texture.

Certainly not widespread.  It's just something I notice on 'some trees... sometime...'  Quite subtle, but odd.  Almost like a dither pattern, but white dots (overtop of the regular tree texture).

Can't say I've seen it anywhere else, and, again, I only noticed it on a FEW trees... not a huge artifact over the entire forest.

If I see it again, I'll try and take a screen shot.  But, I wanted to at least bring it up, and see if it's something that's already known (and hopefully has a fix).

Okay i had the same issue. it's called Dither. But after i bought a new monitor it's gone. All you gotta do is throw money at the problem.

Ya, it definitely looks like dithering... as if it can't handle anything higher than 8 bit colour!  Very odd that it would do that, on a modern system.

I can't say I've seen that often (in Great Battles).  Just maybe twice in the entire time I've had the sim.

Seems to only happen with distant trees.  At first, I thought it was artifacting or some sort of screen refresh/redraw issue... but then, on closer inspection, it seems like intentional dithering to make up for some inablity to display some specific colour.  No idea what that would happen with a modern card and monitor.

I'll have to see if I ever spot it again...

I get this on my monitor pretty badly, it's a 34 inch ultrawide with only 2560x1080, think the res is a bit too low for the size.
