I'm wondering if anyone has or knows where I could acquire a reasonably accurate solid model of a KB13B (or KG13A) flight stick. (BF109, FW190, me262 . . . . .)

I have a Saitek X56 joystick for which I've already made a custom extension for using my lathe but now I've bought a 4-axis CNC mill and I'd love to use it recreate the more complex components for a proper KB13B replica out of aluminum to replace the Saitek grip and buttons. It will pair nicely with my in-transit Iron Mechanic RUD 4 throttle setup. ? (happy happy happy happy happy . . .)

It's a long shot but I thought, if I don't ask what the hell do I expect to get? I work in Solidworks and could draw it myself but have nothing to reference.

Cheb2006 maybe can make an "replica" for you - ready to be used as joystick grip, with buttons that are Russian military models.

Maurizzio de Terlizzi - a Italian scale modeler used to sell a reasonable 1:1 resin copy, don't know if still in business.

I came across this Solidworks model of a KG13/KG12 type grip on Grabcad a while back. Not sure if the gentlemen who designed it was working from an original example or drawings, or if he just eyeballed it from photos. It's not totally complete, but a pretty nice job though!

Holy crap! Thank you I spent hours searching through grabcad but I guess I just couldn't find the right search term.

Thanks for this, I emailed Maurizio and he no longer makes the model unfortunately

You're welcome! I think I tried every possible permutation of "KG13" before finding it (grabcad's search engine could definitely be improved).

BTW, I wouldn't trust the model's dimensions 100%, as I 3d printed the grip and it felt awkward in my hand. I could also just have smaller hands than the average German pilot in ww2!

Hi, pfrsnces! You can make a Kg-13 replica out of L-29 grip R4M, it is usually sold much cheaper on eBay. Here what I managed to perform out of it. I used some spare parts from Cheb2006.
