6./ZG26_Loke Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Just a thought, but also because I really like the early war aircraft. I imagine a plane set like this, and yes I know not all agree. But I have chosen out from which were used the most, I'm sure other people will chose othervise, from their believes. Axis BF109E3 Ju87B1 BF110C2 He111P Collector plane: Do17Z Allies Hawker Hurricane Mk I Fokker D. XXI M. S. 406 Breguet 693 Collector plane: Blenheim Mk IV Map Maybe 2, one for Fall Gelb and one for Fall Rot. Would also love to see a Battle of Spain (civil war). 4
Aap Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 I doubt that we will get these early war scenarios, because they are not perceived as very popular among larger public (besides Battle of Britain), but just as a brain exercise, why not. First glimpse at these planes brings up two things: Axis has only one single-engine fighter in the list and Collector planes are bombers, both are somewhat doubtful approaches. So, would probably change one of the Axis bombers for an Italian G.50 (also useful later Finnish front). As we already have a couple of Heinkels, would be interesting to keep the Do17 (also useful for later Finnish front). So, adjusted plane list: Axis Fighter: Bf109E3 Fighter/GA: Bf110C2 Ground: Ju87B1 Bomber: Do17Z (also usable for Finland) Collector: Fiat G.50 (also usable for Finland) Allies Fighter: Fokker D. XXI (also usable for Finland) Fighter: M.S. 406 (also usable for Finland) Ground: Breguet 693 Bomber: Blenheim Mk IV (also usable for Finland) Collector: Hurricane Mk I (also usable for Finland) 1
6./ZG26_Loke Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 I seriously doubt it too, for the very same reasons you mention. The E3 was the all dominating fighter on the German side. The G. 50, was not used in northren France until the Battle of Britain, which is why I did not suggest it. And yes, many of them fits perfect in a Battle of Karealia.
Atomeur Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 It is an interresting mix of differnts countries even if France can be a part at himself.
