I started a thread about overcast, was locked quickly, no resources, no time, earth is flat in IL2, trolling started quickly.

 

No need for new resources its already here.

 

I have been playing a P47 scripted campaign with overcast weather.

Instead the normal overcast (which is unrealistic with blue on top and with the visibility and rain should be called stormy weather.)

 

This is snow weather without the snow falling, looks like overcast ,

This is a picture with No fog mod. And another with no mods.

No fog mod gives a grey more realistic color.

But even without no fog mod, looks much better than what the game uses for overcast.

So how about add this for overcast weather and re name the current one to storm weather?

That is the good part, you get in the clouds, gets dark , and in the clouds for a bit, then sunny on top.

Its really good.

If you fly the scripted campaign for the P47 you can try it yourselves.

If you add the no fog mod looks even more realistic.
