I would like to see this also. I like to play all real but Icons are almost a must for me to spot other aircraft. My older eyes along with the clarity of VR not as good. And now that Coconut Normal is going away in May, I don't know where to turn. (Sad)

Maybe you need 3dmigoto mod ?

With this mod, you don't need icon. When you use the zoom, you can identify planes easily.

Coconut normal is closing down in May? Didn´t know that, very sad to hear, because I like that one very much.

Spotting in VR with the Oculus Rift and it´s strong SDE is very hard, especially on the Coconut Expert at night. Last days I shot down a friendly by accident because I was so sure that it was an enemy.....the guys on the Server were super angry with me and I apologized a lot for the mess and my mistake.

Spotting in VR is really hard to be honest, but I can not fly without VR anymore.
