Did RPM responsivity change in 3.011?

I'm wondering, because it feels like I'm seeing much less RPM stability since the last patch. I'm now seeing RPM wobble just from heavy turbulence when doing Continuous Power climbs, and I don't recall seeing that previously. 

 

I'm flying the P-47D-28, and I believe it uses a Curtiss Electric constant speed prop. I have been checking that its in constant speed mode, so it's not tgat.

Ok. I just may not have noticed it before this. 

 

So to prevent over speeding in dives, I'm thinking I need to pull the ROM back at the start then bring it back up once the prop catches us?
