Trying to fly online and I turn on the fuel cock, hit I and nothing happens, I've rebound I several times it is set to toggle all engines and nothing ever happens when I hit it, can't figure it out.

I only fly UK in CLOD. But with those types, you have to turn the magneto's on, as well as opening the fuel cock.

Leave the rad shut until the engine warms up enough to taxi.

I am no expert but it works for me.

In the multis you need to select an engine then toggle it.

Can I not fly certain aircraft on the servers or something? Cause I am doing everything right but the engine just won't even begin to turn over or anything. Trying to fly a 109.

Have you given the fuel priming lever a couple of pumps before hitting I?

Though id boot up Clod to see if i could help but first the shortcut and exe got dumped into an unrecvoerable vault by avast then the game game failed to verify and repair repeatedly via Steam. Little things that are probably easy to get around but obsticles notheless that shouldnt be there and prevent people from going further with what is still a very good game.

As of now i have an extra 7gb free on my drive.

Had the I key bound to the wrong toggle engines command, pretty dumb. Toggle all engines isn't the same as toggle engines.

Turn ON magnets has no practical effect in CloD  - is bugged and result just "cosmetic", leave  then for "How start a plane" videos in Youtube.

All required for start a engine in any plane in cloD is:

Turn Fuel Cock ON (twin engines may have two Fuel Cock).

Set throttle 10% open*

Press and hold "Toggle select engine" key - default is "I" (i not L).

After start do the usual, wait warm-up, open radiator, set propeller pitch, etc.

* This 10% in some planes, e.g. Spitfire, Hurricane... mean anything between 0% and 20% - in fact a bit more, but make plane shake a lot.

Thing is in some planes, e.g. Tiger Moth "10%" is between 9.9% and 10.1% - somewhat difficult to achieve with analog throttles, specially the models equipped with potentiometer - these wheel integrated in (3in1) joystick base, CH's and Saitek's throttles. Maybe better use the key for "Throttle 10%".
