Fokker VII - radiator handle

Been spending some time with this bird which is actually a lot of fun and the cockpit looks amazing in VR.

 

However, the water radiator handle does not move when I open and close it. I presume the handle is the small one on the left up against the firewall?

Down next to the manometer at the bottom, do you think there's room for a 'mamometer' field mod to warn of the proximity of incoming projectiles ?
