71st_AH_Mastiff Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 (edited) I'm having a hard time trying to believe that these rounds will fly 1000 m with no bullet drop.. When testing and finding the convergence was off, I found that there seems to be no 84 inch @ 500 m bullet drop for the MG's on the german AC. for some reason the bullet doesn't drop all that much on any of the aircraft. average drop at 500 m should be 84 inches. so how far can a 7.92 mm fire? ah ok I'm discounting the muzzle velocity.. never mind nothing to see here. Gambit21 Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 .308 will drop 60 inches or so at 500...I'd expect .50 cal to drop much less. 1
71st_AH_Mastiff Posted March 7, 2019 Author Posted March 7, 2019 yea did some math and answered my own question, lol.
Gambit21 Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 We do have a pattern/convergence issue though. Much too little dispersion with the .50's on the Jug...I can't speak for Russian guns etc.
