Which FC plane to dogfight against 109K in?

Only joking - I did though decide to purchase Flying Core.  Not sure I will fly it yet or wait for a bit for more content to be delivered but as a measure to support the devs.  BoS is great and I like very much what they are doing especially in VR.?

Spad 13. It easily outturns all WW2 crates, is fastest, most resilent and can have 0.50 guns that can actually cause some damage.

Wonder if the Balloon guns have a greater likely hood of igniting fuel tanks in FC.  In reality when looking at the cartridges characteristics and machine gun rate of fire the .303 was probably better at everything (including lethality due to mkVII ball's design) except balloon busting.

Camel, done it a few times but hard as hell, and normaly ends in me death.

Any 109 human pilot with an intelligence level above that of a small rodent will simply fly away from you laughing.  He/she can then try to BnZ you at their leisure, but any of the old kites can dodge their fire for some time.  Eventually the WW1 bird will lose.  That said I have shot down AI Stukas with the Po2.

 

As to the balloon guns, I have found them to be VERY effective against the other old kites.

I just shot an ace 109K (in QMB) with the Flipper (what else?). The coward however limped after away after getting some head on to land at home base, al least crashing upon landing as the engine quit in approach.
