I just did two "Hunt" missions in a row last night in Kuban as the Russians.

Having to fly in a constant bank circle for an extended period of time with 4x time acceleration was pretty brutal on my stomach and head.

Is there another approach to doing these missions than having to circle around a point? I tried doing a back and forth pattern as well, but it also was so repetitive and had so much constant banking and turning it was almost as bad as just circling the point.

this is the sole reason I stopped playing the campaign. The CAPing while attackers are doing their thing is 'authentic' but it's anti-gamer. I remember flying the mc202 campaign and it took whole 10 minutes on 8x (!!) for the ground attackers to finish their thing. It was boring to no freaking end.

scripted campaigns are much better that way, but they obviously suffer from the replay-ability aspect...

In DCS there are some nice ones, since you are in tension, sometimes you have to depart the CAP zone to engage an enemy incomming.

Here there is no BVR, I wonder if something similar could be achieved in WVR
