Semor76 Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Hi Folks. I messed some things up yesterday evening and (as allways) I didn´t had made a backup of these files. Can somebody please share the defaults of "spitfiremkixe.scv" and "spitfiremkvb.scv". You can find it under: data/Luascrips/snapviews. Thanks in advance
DD_Arthur Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Here you go Semor; spitfiremkixe.zip spitfiremkvb.zip 1
Guest deleted@83466 Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Semor, in the future, if you foul up a snapview file, just delete the whole thing and start the game. It will automatically create the file again, back at it's defaults.
Semor76 Posted March 1, 2019 Author Posted March 1, 2019 This was really quick... Thank you all guys, you deserved a free beer! 12 minutes ago, SeaSerpent said: Semor, in the future, if you foul up a snapview file, just delete the whole thing and start the game. LLv24_Zami Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Very good advice in the headline, I've done that ?
JonRedcorn Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Just a quick heads up for anyone that doesn't know, their is a folder inside the luascripts folder called defaults that has all the default snapviews, you can't mess these up unless you actually delete the folder or files in that folder. So if you ever need to quickly reset them just find the plane inside that defaults folder copy and paste them into the LUAscripts folder and you are as good as new.

Sometimes it works out, but in most cases I am something of a "Rammjaeger". Prost! Enjoy: Edited March 2, 2019 by sevenless

Spitfire XiV flown by Sqd Ldr 401 Sqd, W. T. Klersy, May 1945. Hope we´ll get that plane as a collector. Edited March 2, 2019 by sevenless
69th_chuter Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Or, a 12 so it wouldn't be so ... crazy, although everything happens on the deck anyway so I don't think there'd be much practical difference in the game between the 12 and 14 ... so ...

It is the best Spitfire which saw combat in WW2 IMHO from 9/44 onwards on the continent. (http://www.spitfireperformance.com/spit14v109.html). Not absolutely sure about 1946, but IIRC it is included in the 1946 mod VP modpack you can get here: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=50919.0

My personal favorites. 46 minutes ago, chuter said: Or, a 12 so it wouldn't be so ... crazy, although everything happens on the deck anyway so I don't think there'd be much practical difference in the game between the 12 and 14 ... so ... XII would fit into a 4/44-9/44 setting nicely. Although only flown by 2 Squadrons. See here:
BornToBattle Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 (edited) Whew, that was close. From the OP’s title I thought he was referring to me and some of my posts such as the one where I admitted getting just a mellow “bzzzzzzz” on before firing up the rig and having a go in the K-4...and while in VR at that. For some reason I seem to fly better. But trying to fly if I’m blind drunk in VR would simply be asking for trouble, especially on the reality side of things. No way that will ever happen.
